The village is located in Xayaboury district of Xayaboury province and is inhabited b 91 families, out of which 4 are women headed. The households belong to the Lao Loum and Khummu ethnic groups. The focused forest product in the village is teak which has 70 ha of plantation. However, the villagers do not have teak certificate- a document to legalize ownership of the plantation- to any of plantation plots.
