The village is located in Paktha district of Bokeo province and is inhabited by 137 families, out of which 21 are women headed. The households belong to the Lao Loum and Khummu ethnic groups. The focused forest product in the village is teak which has 24 ha of plantation. However, the villagers have only 39 teak certificates - a document to legalize ownership of the plantation- covering 9.8 ha, less than a half area of the plantation plots.
