Steenberg's Cove
Steenberg's Cove Market Day

"We arrived at Steenberg Cove, greeted by a venue situated at the heart of the community, offering a picturesque view of the sea that perfectly complemented our event. Having learned valuable lessons from our inaugural occasion, we opted to initiate the proceedings at 11h00 in the morning instead of 09h00, affording us ample time for meticulous preparation and setup. As the community awakened, they were met with the splendid sight of the ABALOBI BRANDED vehicle positioned adjacent to the market, evoking overwhelming excitement.

We entered Steenberg’s Cove equipped with another 250 kilograms of fish, mirroring the scale of the previous community event. Benefiting from ABALOBI's well-established presence through local fishers, our arrival was met with open arms. The community, well-informed by this point, exhibited remarkable enthusiasm, resulting in extraordinary sales. Fishers, too, visited the event, finding inspiration in the realization that through ABALOBI, they could actively contribute to the well-being of their own communities, particularly in the context of food security.

The success of the event was evident, with sales soaring, and we managed to sell out with only a few kilograms to spare. Interestingly, the surplus was promptly acquired by an individual from a neighboring community who arrived just in time before the event's closure at 14:00. This triumph in Steenberg Cove marked another in a series of successes, further reinforced by subsequent events in the weeks that followed."
