Climate risks in the Coastal area are constituted by immediate variability in the occurrence and intensity of extreme weather events, as well as elements of more gradual and long-term climatic change so planting of mangroves will mitigate these risks

Kadzuhoni Mangrove Restoration Site
Mangrove restoration has been done in this area where over 100,000 saplings have been planted covering 50 hectares of land. Local communities have been involved in restoration and are currently monitoring the growth and replanting more.
