We were quite lucky with the weather this year. However, we had to postpone the maintenance work that we usually do after the spring planting season. In June, we were able to mulch as many as 218,000 plants in Jrashen 2.

The results of Fall Planting 2022 are more than exciting! A total of exactly 475․184 trees were planted in Lori! This number is double than last fall planting!

In celebration of United Nations Day, on October 24, United Nations Armenia funded 18.000 trees to be planted in Lori Province. This is the beginning of a new UN Forest. The forest will cover 6 ha and is situated in our Jrashen II area.

We will plant in a new afforestation area: Jrashen II. It covers 110 ha, and the altitude ranges from 2150 to 2400 m. This area faces Jrashen I and has the significant advantage of having mostly northern exposure.

On July 22, 2022, we signed the Real Estate Free Land Use Agreement with the Spitak community for Jrashen II area.

On May 17, we hosted Mr. Hakob Simidyan; the minister of environment, Mr. Aram Meymaryan; deputy minister of environment, Mr. Gor Asryan, deputy governor of Lori Province. Andre and our team showed them our next area of Jrashen II.

We start 2022 with great expectations. This is our third year of activity, and our young forests will conquer new areas, while already planted trees will grow and strengthen. By 2022, we plan to plant 400,000 trees in total.
