Summary
Where wild lemurs once swung from tree to tree, only 0.19 % of the Ankazobe District in Madagascar remains covered by natural forests! At Kafeala, we are on a mission to save this unique nature. On land that legally belongs to our NGO, we plant and protect the first human-made forests, home to over 150 native plant species, in Ankazobe. The production of non-profit coffee, honey and pepper enables the forests to become self-sustaining, creating more fair jobs and raising environmental awareness.
