This site covers the entire catchment of the Kraalstroom River which arises in massive of the Dutoitskloof peak, the highest in the area at 1995m, and travels approx 6km to its confluence with the Elandspad River.

Invasive species: pine, hakea
Densities: low pockets of dense hakea pines mostly on peaks.
