Sustainable Development Goals
Summary
The Kessel Lake climate project transforms approximately 100 ha of uniform pine forest in Brandenburg into a near-natural and biodiverse forest. By doing so, the project is expected to avoid and remove over 4,400 tons of CO₂ emissions over 30 years from the atmosphere, preparing the forest for future climatic conditions.
