On July 16th a murdered buffalo and poacher were discovered in Kogyae Reserve

The African Civet is present at Kogyae, often hunted for ‘bushmeat’ and sold in many markets and on the roadside, it’s estimated that the bush meat industry is worth $135m in Ghana.

The birds of Kogyae play a very important role in maintaining ecological equilibrium, providing food, nutrients to the soil, seed distribution and insect control.
