Summary
Protecting Leatherback Sea Turtles Through Youth Leadership and Community-Based Learning is a hands-on conservation and education program based at Costa Rica’s Laguna Urpiano Wildlife Refuge. It empowers students to take an active role in protecting critically endangered Leatherback sea turtles through fieldwork, leadership training, and collaboration with local communities. By combining science, culture, and environmental stewardship, the program builds a new generation of conservation leaders.
