The Mali Elephant Project (MEP) works to protect an iconic “desert elephant” population across 42,000km2 of Sahel, through pioneering a successful holistic/systemic approach, that promotes social and environmental resilience. The vision is a restored ecosystem where humans and elephants coexist peacefully.
