Mogollon Wildway
Spine of the Continent • United States Started in January 2013 Active Conservation
Summary
Mogollon Wildway is a regional wildlife corridor linking the Gila wildlands complex in southwest New Mexico with the Grand Canyon wildlands complex in northern Arizona. It is part of the much larger Western Wildway, or Spine of the Continent, spanning the Rocky Mountains and adjacent grasslands and deserts. Mexican Wolves, Lobos, have been restored to the Gila wildlands complex; and Mogollon Wildway is how they can safely recolonize habitats northward.
