Pandu Sanjaya is located in Pangkalan Lada Sub-District, Kotawaringin Barat district, Central Kalimantan, Indonesia. A lowland village, with an elevation below 100 meters, it is the 38 kilometers from the district capital, Pangkalan Bun.
Pandu Sanjaya is a transmigrant village, which was settled 1979 and 1998, and has a total population of 6,752 people. The community relies on agriculture, labor and trade for their livelihoods. The majority of the land in the village is allocated for small or industrial-scale oil palm plantations.
In terms of educational background, Pandu Sanjaya residents are mostly educated at the elementary or high school levels, with a smaller proportion undertaking tertiary studies. Only 29.53% of the village was not educated. The village is relatively developed and has good quality housing, public infrastructure and access to government services, including health. The village has four elementary schools, two junior high schools and one senior high school. Pandu Sanjaya village also has shops, traditional markets, mini markets, stalls, restaurants, banks and cooperatives.
