We are currently acquiring pieces of land in the region of Antioquia, Colombia: 600 hectares with almost 70% of it in a degraded state due to cattle ranching activities.

The ecosystem around is very rich and diverse, and will help achieve the natural restoration of the lands.

On top of letting Nature do its work by sowing its seeds, NatureRe’s expert team will assist nature with soft measures such as weeding, seed bombs, fire prevention, exclusion of grazing animals, vegetation perches, boundary fencing and control of invasive species.

The local community around will be involved in the project, and will benefit from it with activities such as eco-tourism, ranger jobs to protect the restored land and investments in education projects.
