Once again, we found ourselves entranced by the captivating wetland, immersing ourselves in the natural splendor and diverse wildlife it had to offer.
The wetlands provide sanctuary to a wide range of species, from insects and bugs that crawl over every plant to baby frogs that hop all around the land. Not to mention the reed warblers, barking fawns, and lapwings that keep a watchful eye over their nests. All of this encompasses an impressive 42 - hectares surrounded by fields heavily treated with pesticides.
This time, we ventured out for birdwatching with the renowned ornithologist Lucia Rubáčová from the Faculty of Natural Sciences, visiting the wetland during late evening and early morning hours 🌅
