Our cows have already had the first babies. All of the calves are doing well. They spend as much time as possible with their mums. The little cows are getting stronger and prepering for their important task - supporting biodiversity at the Veľký Lél Island. By reintroducing extensive pasture they are helping us maintain important habitats for rare insect and plant species. Without the regenerative grazing these species would disappear forever. Their habitats would overgrow with different plant species including invasive ones and the species would loose their living space nowhere else to refuge.
