Summary
Niger’s Farming Carbon Project is a social enterprise project that uses agroforestry to help both reduce greenhouse gas emissions and generate financial benefits for the local population through the sale of carbon credits and ecosystem services. We work with women's peasant organization, local policy makers and smallholder’s farmers. We do local capacity building, seedlings, trees nursery management, trees distribution, planting trees in agricultural and pastoral ecosystems and monitoring.
