As part of its environmental awareness initiative, Bôndy is actively involved in primary schools, secondary schools, and high schools in Madagascar. The primary goal is to awaken the environmental consciousness of the younger generations in the face of two major challenges weighing on Madagascar: deforestation and climate change.
Bôndy's dedicated teams employ a diverse and interactive approach to raise awareness among schoolchildren and high school students. Engaging activities such as games, drawing and writing workshops, and interactive comics make learning as captivating as possible.
This project directly contributes to:
Raising Environmental Awareness: Impacting over 800 schoolchildren and high school students in rural areas, the project aims to increase awareness of crucial environmental issues.
Training Young Eco-Citizens: By providing practical and immersive education, the program aims to instill eco-responsibility values in the youth, preparing them to be future guardians of the planet.
Promoting the Sustainability of Reforestation Projects: Actively sensitizing the younger generations contributes to ensuring the sustainability of reforestation initiatives in Antolojanahary and Andramasina.
Notably, the educational component is strongly supported by the creation of interactive comics. These comics play a crucial role in making complex information accessible to young minds while reinforcing the educational impact of Bôndy's interventions. Each contribution to this project represents one step closer to a future where the Malagasy youth is conscious, informed, and ready to act for the preservation of its unique environment.
