To enhance the participation of female producers in the coffee cooperative, an own brand of coffee was developed. The coffee beans are growing in diverse agroforestry systems, independendly managed by women who are thereby opening a new source of income to their household and support their families financially. The coffee is currently in the process to be certified under organic standards.
