Mateo Bernabé Mateo, member of Cooperativa Integral Agrícola Cocolense R.L., lives with his family of 4 members, in Aldea Cocola Grande, in the municipality of Santa Eulalia.
He has an agroforestry parcel that was established 5 years ago with an extension of 0.87 hectares of organic coffee with the Villalobos variety, in average, he harvests 1.55 TM of parchment coffee, which he commercializes through the Cooperative with the fair trade seal. In addition to coffee, he also cultivates fruit species such as Zapote (Pouteria sapota), which generate economic income, and he also plants seven trees that serve as shade for coffee: Liquidambar (Liquidámbar styraciflua). (Laurus nobilis).
