Pedro Juan Ramírez Marcos, is the owner of an agroforestry parcel that was established 5 years ago with an extension of 0.87 hectares of organic coffee with the varieties Catimor and Villalobo, on average, he harvests 5 MT of fresh coffee beans per harvest season. After the wet processing, this results in 2 MT of parchment coffee, which he commercializes with the Cooperativa Integral Agrícola Cocolense R.L., of which he is a member.

He lives with his family of 4 in Caserío El Naranjo, a village called Yula San Juan, in the municipality of Santa Cruz Barillas, and planted plants of different species, which serve as shade for the crop such as: Chalum (Inga edulis), Guarumbo (Cecropia peltata), Salbión (Morus insignis).
