This area is located on a plateau that overlooks part of the Ecocamp. It is very exposed to the prevailing Northern winds in summer and sun.
As this plateau was dug out with a digger, the soil is not in the best state; in some areas we encounter big rocks rather than soil.
There are a few existing trees in the middle of the area, most of them are not native and suffering. And some natives that are doing better. Around the area is quite some native vegetation that shows us which species want to grow here.

The main tube from the water tank passes through this area which can facilitate installing a drip irrigation system.
