Summary
Rewilding Europe is working with Rewilding Rhodopes on natural grazing, rewilding and restoration of the essential ecological processes in the Bulgarian Rhodopes. Restoring natural food webs in the Rhodope Mountains is a flagship project of Rewilding Europe. The main focus is to help vultures and other scavenging species by boosting the availability of wild herbivore carcasses. Reinvigorating the ways in which species up and down the food chain interact, is the key area of focus.
