Wild garlic (or Ramsons) shoots are sprouting in the garden. This is a sign of the steady movement from Winter into Spring. And it is a sign that we will soon be harvesting our first forest crop of the year!
Wild garlic is one of the most prolific plants in our forest garden - and it's edible! You can eat the entire plant raw, use the leaves for salad and make pesto or oil. We sell this crop to restaurants and markets across Rotterdam.
