Over the weekend, we hosted Rotterdam's first Food Forest Festival at the Overtuin. The festival was organised by the Green Trainees of Coöperatie Ondergrond. During the festival there were tours, workshops and tastings - all adapted to the changing covid-19 regulations. More than 100 people attended the festival and there were conversations about food forests, connection to nature, what it means to produce food well and create green spaces within an urban environment. Both days were lovely and it was great to see the enthusiasm for food forests and the thirst to know more.
