Arniston, also known as Waenhuiskrans, is a small coastal village in the Western Cape province of South Africa. It is situated on the Indian Ocean, about 200 kilometers southeast of Cape Town. Arniston is named after a British East Indiaman ship that wrecked there in 1815. The village is also home to the Waenhuiskrans Cave, a large sea cave accessible at low tide
