The Northwest region of Cameroon has been gravely affected by armed separatist conflict since 2017, leading to widespread displacement, food insecurity, environmental degradation, and socio-economic instability. The crisis has contributed in the destruction of community forests, degraded watersheds, and left youth and women vulnerable.
Green Globe Organisation, an award-winning, youth-led environmental NGO, proposes "Seeds of Change: Greening Conflict-Affected Communities" to restore ecosystems, foster peace, and build resilience. This project will empower internally displaced persons (IDPs), indigenous groups, and youth through the establishment of agroforestry-based community orchards, sustainable catchment management, and peace building activities.
All project activities are designed to foster peace by promoting community collaboration, restoring trust, and reducing competition over scarce natural resources.
Project Goal: To restore ecological integrity, improve food security, and promote peace in conflictaffected communities of the Northwest Region through community-driven greening and
ecosystem restoration.

host communities.
