Tanglewood Conservation Area forms part of a vision and platform to link Addo Elephant National Park to the Great Fish River Reserve through the formation of connected conservation land via a series of biodiversity and nature corridors and the expansion of protected areas. The project aims to ensure ecosystem connectivity and biodiversity conservation at a landscape scale, which incorporates the socio-economic development of rural people, supports regenerative agriculture and which contributes to global climate change mitigation and adaptation, biodiversity conservation and poverty alleviation. The project is in its infancy as funding is being secured.
