No Poverty
End poverty in all its forms everywhere
Our projects create jobs for unemployed people in rural areas of Brazil
Good Health and Well-being
Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages
Recreation in nature has been shown to be good for mental and physical health. Our forests will provide opportunities for local people to connect with nature. Forests reduce air pollution, improve local water quality and lower local temperature.
Quality Education
Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all
Our science team work with students from the Center for Culture and Extension Support in Education and Environmental Conservation (NACE-PTECA) at the University of São Paulo and from Imperial College, London.
Gender Equality
Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls
We are an equal opportunity employer.
Clean Water and Sanitation
Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all
As our forests grow, springs return and runoff is reduced, improving water quality in the watershed.
Affordable and Clean Energy
Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all
We install solar panels on our project sites and we are looking at partnering with renewable energy and storage companies.
Decent Work and Economic Growth
Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all
Until now, Brazil has been the lungs of the world free of charge. With our projects, it will benefit from competitively paid jobs with good working conditions as well as tax revenue. All of our capital expenditure will go into the Brazilian economy.
Reduced Inequalities
Reduce inequality within and among countries
We are connecting global capital to the Brazilian economy, and creating jobs in rural areas of the country that are less economically developed.
Sustainable Cities and Communities
Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable
Reforestation lowers local temperature, regulates the water cycle, reduces risk of landslides and fires. By restoring one of the most fragmented ecosystems on Earth, with a high number of endemic and threatened species, we are helping safeguard Brazil's natural heritage.
Responsible Consumption and Production
Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns
We help companies realise their net-zero ambitions and mitigate the biodiversity collapse. We measure and monitor forest growth and biodiversity impacts and enable companies to communicate them to their clients and staff.
Target 12.6
We help companies realise their net-zero ambitions.
Climate Action
Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts
Our forests can remove carbon from the atmosphere quickly (closed canopy in 2 years), durably (through the creation of permanent private reserves) and at scale. We plant 60-90 species of trees, making more resilient forests. We connect fragments of original forest, with huge biodiversity benefits which also promote resilience in the face of climate change impacts. This is an ecosystem which supports almost 3,000 vulnerable, endangered or cirtically endangered species. The forest also lowers the local temperature, brings reliable rainfall, reduces chance of forest fires.
Life on Land
Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss
Partnerships for the Goals
Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development
