Project
Granadas Regenerative Project

This project focuses on regenerative agriculture with an ecological and sustainable approach, located on a 7.5 ha ranch in Antiguo Morelos, Tamaulipas, Mexico. The main objective is to restore the soil and revitalize the ecosystem through techniques that promote biodiversity, efficient water management, and the creation of a healthy environment for future generations.

Main components of the project:
Main crop: Wonderful pomegranates. Currently, 750 pomegranate trees are being cultivated with a regenerative approach to improve soil health.

Regeneration practices: I implement techniques such as slash mulch, living covers, rain gardens, and food forest design to create a diverse and resilient environment.

Species diversification: Incorporation of shade trees, native and exotic fruit trees, which promote biodiversity and improve ecosystem functionality.

Conservation and water: Strategic pollinator zones have been designated, and passive water management is used to make the most of available resources.

The project not only seeks agricultural production, but also serves as a space for education and awareness, demonstrating how land regeneration can coexist with productivity, all based on principles that seek to harmonize the environment with human well-being and nature.
