These measures require lots of financial as well as personal resources, with the help of Tree.ly and the revenues generated through a carbon project the forest owners are able to handle the challenges of climate change better. By creating a financial incentive for sustainable forest management, Tree.ly with the help of European forest owners aims to conserve and increase the positive effects of forests on our climate.

All projects are certified by TÜV according to SILVACONSULT® Forest Carbon Standard methodology, in line with the ISO 14064-2:2019 standard. The generated revenues must be reinvested into the forest areas. To ensure that, Tree.ly and a third-party organization develop and regularly check the measurement plans of the forestry organizations.
