One of our ambitions is to grow trees from seed - in our tree nursery and directly in the soil. During the last session of our 'Fridays for Future' we planted seeds of the Néspera (loquat), Almond and Lemon in trays and put them in our nursery.
The aim is to germinate and develop them over the summer period and as soon as the rain season kicks in we give them a place in the soil. This can be at Vinha Velha or at one of the reforestation projects we are connected to.
