Project area 4: DAN.com's Forest
Planting for biodiversity in DAN.com's forest

We introduced new species to the new planting rows in the forest system. From seeds, cuttings and saplings. Keeping in mind the natural layers of a forest ecosystem. We plant densely, so that stratification occurs from the beginning: faster growing species providing shade for slower growers, in a design that every plant can thrive.

Among others we introduced:
Apple, pear, loquat, almond, a variety of oaks, elders, ash, lemon, orange, white & red mulberry, olive, pomegranate, kaki, medronho, tree lucerne, pines, casuarina, mirtle, fig, feijoa, carambola, poplar, willow, carobe, nectarine, peach, apricot, cacti, ice plant, blueberry, raspberry, strawberry, vetiver grass and more.
