This Friday we focussed on preparing planting the trees that we will receive from Gone West soon. With a group of people we dug the first 63 holes. We will keep on digging this week. Later we will prepare compost and tother ingredients that will help the young trees develop.
Since it is late in the planting season and the long dry summer period is approaching, we chose to only plant along irrigation lines, along the riverbed or close to the houses so the young trees will receive enough water to survive in the long dry summer period.

Some of the trees will be planted in projects connected to our foundation. This way we ensure that the trees will be looked after and cared for. We will create geolocations for them so we can show where we are making impact in the region.

Let those trees come!
