We harvested seeds from the loquat, carobe, pistaccia lentiscus, medronho, apple, pear, lemon, almond to grow in our tree nursery. Here we prepare a mix of good compost and the clay soil that is present in our area. This way the seeds get a nutrient boost but also get used to the local soil.
We put this mix in deep trays so the roots can develop more naturally. Now we put in the seeds and give them some water regularly so they can propagate.
