Project Vision0Carbon is initated by NGO VISIONDURABILITE composed of experts in sustainable agriculture working voluntarily in the implementation of sustainable agricultural practices in order to help our farmers cope with difficult conditions and poverty. VisionzeroCarbon is a certified project that works on the rehabilitation of degraded agricultural areas and the conservation of the biodiversity of 5,000 hectares of forest and agricultural land in the Moronou region : a region severely affected by the negative impacts of unsustainable practices and climate change.
GOALS
Contribute to the reduction of emissions in the field of agriculture, forestry and other uses of peasant land through Reforestation activities : Afforestation, Reforestation and Revegetation (ARR). These actions will essentially consist of :
• Develop and sustainably manage farmers’ agricultural areas
• Promote zero deforestation agriculture through reforestation and the promotion of agroforestry ; • Evaluate and generate carbon credits ;

EXPECTED RESULTS
• A management plan for the project intervention areas validated and approved by an OVV (verification and validation body) for certification
• 5000 ha undergo certified emissions interventions ;
• Carbon credits are purchased on the carbon market and distributed to stakeholders ;
• 900,000 tonnes of greenhouse gases per year over 30 years
• The sustainable development objectives : OOD1,2,3,4 and 13 are achieved.
