This is agroforestry beneficiary Yirged C., 42. Most of our farmers in the Machakel district have start harvesting their coffee beans. Yirged and her family, who have been participating in the project since 2017, collected 75kg of coffee from their 0.125 ha in 2020, earning the equivalent of US$433 from the first harvest alone. By the end of this year, they hope to have harvested at least 150kg!
