Save the Med inspires local communities to take action not only to protect but also to regenerate the environment that surrounds them. The Foundation conducts research to generate knowledge for a better understanding of fragile ecosystems and implements innovative projects to minimise human impact on the environment while contributing towards improvements in relevant policies and management strategies. Save the Med is the leading organization in the Motor Group of the Alliance.

Arrels Marines is a local organisation made up of people from diverse backgrounds, and different stories that are united by a common passion: their love for the Balearic Sea. They aim to protect and preserve the beauty of the Balearic Sea through the development of projects included in 3 fundamental pillars: marine conservation, environmental education and ecosocial transition. Arrels Marines is a member of the Motor Group of the Alliance that has been there from the beginning.

APAEMA is a non-profit association with the main goal of having a platform for the defense and promotion of organic agriculture and agroecology. They represents the ecological agricultural sector, watch over the prestige of Mallorca's organic agri-food products, promote and encourage of organic agriculture and agroecology, organize organic agricultural production and its productive sub-sectors and protect the environment and promotion of rural development.

The Fundación Iniciatives del Mediterrani (the Foundation) is an independent NGO which encourages responsible environmental, cultural and economic practices in the Balearic Islands. We believe that responsibility and economic development are not mutually exclusive concepts. Our projects include supporting the Palma XXI, Tramuntana XXI and Pla de Mallorca XXI associations. These organisations share the Foundation’s vision and are a key part of the "XXI Initiatives".

The Mediterranean Wildlife Foundation (FVSM) aims to contribute to the conservation of biodiversity in the Balearic Islands and the rest of the Mediterranean. FVSM works in the recovery of biodiversity, rural traditions, environmental education, promotion of volunteering, rural development and land stewardship. The FVSM develops scientific, conservationist and educational activities, collaborates with the Black Vulture Conservation Foundation (BVCF) and owns the Ariant Biological Reserve.

Permacultura Mediterránea (PermaMed ) is a nonprofit association, that strives to accelerate the regeneration of human and natural communities in Mediterranean climate bioregions. We are guided by holistic permaculture and regenerative design and collaborative, sociocratic principles within our organization and in the implementation of projects and activities. We are a community and volunteer supported lean operation, with almost all our funds going directly into project implementation.

CERAI defends a living rural world and sustainable food. It is a social entity that approaches its work as a collective responsibility to guarantee the fulfillment of universal rights, especially in rural communities. They support and promote sustainable food systems and rural livelihoods with the aim of ensuring the right to food, food sovereignty, the rights of rural communities and the conservation of ecosystems. CERAI is one of the members of the Motor Group of the Alliance.
