Amman Imman: Water is Life supports African communities most affected by climate change, desertification and water insecurity. Since 2006, we have increased climate resiliency, particularly among women and youth, by implementing activities in the fields of WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene), health, education, economic security and environmental protection. Our newest project, Landscape Restoration for Ecosystem Recovery (LRER), will contribute to Africa's Great Green Wall by bringing back landscapes that have been degraded by climate change. LRER will balance sustainable management and rehabilitation of wetlands and pasturelands, with sustainable agroforestry.
