The Amazon Rescue Center is a joint effort between the Dallas World Aquarium Zoo, the Institute of Investigation of the Peruvian Amazon and Acobia-DWAzoo (CREA); whose objective is to provide inter-institutional support for the rescue, rehabilitation and release of specimens of aquatic mammals and wildlife in danger in the Loreto region of the Peruvian Amazon through the means of environmental education programs.

We also develop ecotourism activities, research and we various volunteer and internship programs.

La Fundación Iquitos - Centro de rescate Amazónico es un esfuerzo mancomunado entre el Dallas World Aquarium Zoo, el Instituto de Investigaciones de la Amazonia Peruana y Acobia-DWAzoo; cuyo objetivo es brindar apoyo interinstitucional para el rescate, rehabilitación y liberación de especímenes de mamíferos acuáticos y fauna silvestre en peligro en Loreto, afianzados mediante un programa de educación ambiental.
