Green Balam Forests is a private organization based in Peten, Guatemala. We are dedicated to promote conservation and forest restoration through the implementation of sustainable forest management and reforestation projects in private degraded land in the Maya Biosphere Reserve.
Our aim is to restore the degraded ecosystems to create biological corridors and regenerate biodiversity in the Buffer and Multiple Use Zones in the Mayan Biosphere Reserve.
