IBIOS – Instituto Biosfera is a non-profit organization established in 2023, located in Bananal, São Paulo, Brazil, within the ecologically vital Serra da Bocaina region, in the heart of the Brazilian Atlantic Forest, a global biodiversity hotspot.
Our mission is to contribute to the conservation and restoration of this biome, one of the richest and most threatened on the planet, as well as to foster the well-being and sustainable progress of the communities within our operational areas.
At IBIOS, we envision a more equitable and harmonious future where societal progress is inextricably linked with the well-being of our planet. We strive for a world where human society and nature are more connected and coexist in harmony.
