About

Junglescapes is a group of people who come from different walks of life but share a common passion for conservation of wildlife and bio-diversity. Our primary activity is restoration of degraded forest eco-systems. Our project sites are in the Western Ghats in India, a global bio-diversity hotspot.
We work together on conservation with village communities that live at the edge of, or within the eco-sensitive zones of, national parks. Many of these village hamlets are close to protected wildlife areas or sensitive animal migratory corridors. These communities are economically challenged as agriculture is unviable and other employment opportunities are scarce.
