Our Mission

A single Giant Sequoia can grow big enough to capture a person’s entire lifetime carbon footprint. As our planet’s most powerful carbon capture their protection and survival is essential.

Due to the impact of climate change Giant Sequoias are in sharp decline in their native US habitat, with only 75,000 remaining.

Our mission is to safely plant and protect 100,000 of the species in the UK, creating The Great Reserve.
