About

Support Humanity Cameroon (SUHUCAM) is a non-profit Development and Environmental organization created in 2018 with the vision to build inclusive, self-sufficient and sustainable communities and contribute to a world where people live happily in harmony with one another and with nature. SUHUCAM’s key areas of intervention includes, Climate Change, landscape restoration, climate smart agriculture, livelihood support, water/hygiene, education, women and youths empowerment. SUHUCAM is part of and serves as host to Global Landscapes Forum (GLFx Yaounde Chapter); group of passionate youths leading restoration initiatives in their communities and a member of several international networks and oganizations including the African Forest Forum, African Climate Reality Project and RainForest Partnership. We are equally, a legally recognized organization with the Cameroon Ministry of Forestry and Wildlife, Ministry of Environment, Nature Protection and Sustainable Development and an accredited organization with United Nations Water Conference.

Since 2019, we have mobilized and engaged over 300 community volunteers in planting 20000+ trees in North West Cameroon, build capacity and engaged 65 Indigenous Mbororo women in Agro-pastoral landscape restoration, enhancing food security and creating local jobs for women and youths in grassroots communities in conflict hit North West Cameroon.
