The Achala Nature Reserve is located to the north of the Pampa de Achala region, Córdoba, Argentina, and has 120 hectares in the process of environmental regeneration and conservation. We work with the reserve, local triple impact nurseries and civil society organizations incorporating Tabaquillos (Polylepis australis), a native tree that has a great capacity to retain water in roots, leaves, and bark, to later release it in the form of pulses to the environment. This species promotes the recovery of the watershed.

La Reserva Natural Achala está ubicada al norte de la región Pampa de Achala, Córdoba, Argentina, y cuenta con 120 hectáreas en proceso de regeneración ambiental y conservación. Trabajamos con la reserva, viveros locales de triple impacto y organizaciones de la sociedad civil incorporando Tabaquillos (Polylepis australis), un árbol nativo que posee la gran capacidad de retención de agua en raíces, hojas, y corteza, para luego liberarla en forma de pulsos al ambiente. Esta especie promueve la recuperación de la cuenca hídrica.
