Summary
WCT is working to reduce firewood consumption and human-wildlife conflict in a cluster of 49 villages in and around the Ghodazari Wildlife Sanctuary in the Bramhapuri Division of Chandrapur District in Maharashtra, India. This is being carried out through an evidence-based approach by collecting large datasets of ecological and social drivers and using Machine Learning and other Artificial Intelligence (AI) methods to develop policy recommendations.
