The Biophilia Foundation and its collaborators are developing a carbon credit mechanism to fund restoration of streams and watersheds in the arid southwestern United States. Workgroup members, which include practitioners, scientists, funders, and policy specialists, are developing a protocol that can account for multiple carbon stocks in healthy and biodiverse waterways.
