Nursery
Construction of a native plant nursery

After carrying out a plant survey in the area, we selected local trees that were either important for conservation, either a food source for monkeys and curassows. We have also introduced and reproduced some species which populations have been decimated in the area, such as the Colombian mahogany. Over the years, the nursery has produced over 10.000 seedlings that have been used for restoration and reforestation projects in the area of Barbacoas.
