Since 2010, we have been working with the local community in capacity-building, awareness-raising and empowerment in conservation, while aiming to improve their -being improving their well-being and promoting sustainable productive alternatives. In 2020, with support of Fundacion Natura and the GEF-Magdalena Project, the community plant nursery was improved and expanded, as an economic alternative for the inhabitants. We also supported productive backyards and build capacity of women on agroecology to improve their food governance, with support of the Ministry of Science, and raised funds to provide clean water to all the households, supported by TNC, Corantioquia and Gotta ingenieros.
